Hours : 8 : 30 - 5 : 30 pm with a one-hour break
We are seeking a seasoned, compassionate, patient, and dedicated I nfant Room Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Collegeville. As an Infant Room Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants aged 3 months to 1 year. You will be responsible for fostering early childhood development and creating a positive, supportive atmosphere and bond for both the children and their families.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide high-quality care and supervision for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.Implement age-appropriate activities that promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of infants.Develop and maintain daily schedules that include feeding, napping, and playtime routines.Observe and document each childs growth and developmental milestones.Communicate verbally and in-writing with parents about their childs progress, behavior, and daily experiencesCollaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that meets health and safety regulations.Assist with basic care tasks, such as feeding, diapering, and helping infants with motor skill development.Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.Attend staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training sessions as required.What We Offer :

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferredChild Development Associate (CDA) preferred2-5 years of previous experience working with young children (preferably infants or young toddlers) in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferredHas successfully completed state-required pre-service trainingDevelops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty membersAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of childrenIf youre an energetic, nurturing person looking for a supportive and fun workplace, join us!
