This LEAD teacher position would be eligible for the INFANT TODDLER AWARD program with the State.

We are looking for FULL TIME teachers in our Toddler Programs to join our team. Complete and ready-to-implement lesson plans along with materials are available through our proprietary curriculum!!

Positions:

1. Lead Toddler Teacher (2 year old program) - 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (1 hr lunch)
2. Toddler Co-Lead (1 year old program) - 8:30 - 5:30 pm (1 hr lunch)
3. Pre-K Assistant Teacher (4-5 year old) - 8:30-5:30 (1 hr lunch)

Responsibilities of a Lead Teacher include the following:

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each childs social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations
• Working with the co-teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty
• Creating/keeping up with Children's assessments

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience working with Toddlers in a preschool setting
• Early Childhood or related education. We offer a free Associates degree through Wake Tech Community College
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
