The Goddard School in Independence is seeking a passionate Infant Teacher to join our infant (6 weeks - 12 months) teaching team! At The Goddard School, we create a nurturing and joyful space for children to grow, explore, and learn through our Wonder of Learning curriculum. This approach is designed to inspire a love of learning from the very start, and were looking for staff who share this commitment to excellence and creativity.
What You'll Do
- Engage Tiny Minds : Use creative, age-appropriate activities that introduce infants to the joy of learning through sensory play, music, language exploration, and movement.
- Foster Individual Growth : Observe each child's unique development, creating personalized experiences that nurture curiosity and celebrate milestones, from the first coos to the first steps.
- Create a Safe & Loving Environment : Ensure a calm, clean, and welcoming space where children feel safe, loved, and eager to explore the world around them.
- Collaborate with Families : Communicate with parents and caregivers to share the days fun and learning moments, keeping them updated on developmental progress and memorable milestones.
- Be Part of a Team : Work with a supportive team of dedicated educators in a school that values ongoing learning, creativity, and teamwork.
