Lead Infant Teacher (6 Weeks - 18 Months) The Goddard School – Westerville (Polaris)

Your Role as a Lead Infant Teacher As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will:

• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants (6 weeks - 18 months).

• Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational and recreational activities.

• Observe children's interests and collaborate with colleagues to develop creative curriculum ideas.

• Communicate daily with parents, sharing their child’s development and milestones.

• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow faculty members.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field OR a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (required for Lead Teachers).

• Previous experience working with infants in an early childhood education setting.

• Ability to meet state background check eligibility requirements.

• Strong understanding of childcare programming, safety protocols, and first-aid procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Dependable, adaptable, and a team player who takes initiative.
