Job Description:
As a Two-Year-Old Teacher, you will create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that fosters the cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children. You will work closely with our team to provide individualized instruction and support to help each child thrive. This position is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to helping young children reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for two-year-olds
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate with parents regarding each child’s progress and milestones
- Observe, assess, and document children’s development and behavior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive curriculum
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
- Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through structured play and interaction
Qualifications:
- 45 DCF Hours required
- CDA (Child Development Associate) Certification is highly considered
- Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education best practices
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in a preschool setting is preferred, but not required
Compensation:
- Pay scale: $16 - $20 per hour, based on experience and credentials
- Immediate hire available for qualified candidates
