We're looking for a great teacher to join our team! As a highly enrolled school that's served our community since 2007, we don't have the growing pains that others do. Even during COVID-19 "stay at home," we remained open to serve the essential workers of our community.

We are currently hiring for PART TIME afternoon assistant teachers. This is a great job for college students or someone who just wants to work a couple of hours a day. We have shifts starting at 2:45PM or 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The ages available include after school, Preschool, and Pre-K, with the possibility of younger ages. This position could be more full time as well if someone was interested in additional hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- If applying for Lead Teacher, an education related degree (Bachelors, Associates or CDA) preferred or the desire to complete one AND at least one year working in a licensed childcare center.
- If applying for Assistant Teacher – high school degree and experience working with children.
- Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
- Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
- Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
- Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
