What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Part Time Floater Teacher position at The Goddard School?
About Us: The Goddard School located in Centennial has been a proven early childhood preschool program within our community for the past 12 years.
We're seeking an exceptional preschool readiness educator. The ideal teacher for this position is personable, loving, organized, flexible and most of all has an inherent love for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
- Create activities that are fun and educational for the children
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
- Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students
- MUST be able to work from 2-6PM or 3-6PM.
Qualifications:
- ECT qualified and/or holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, another education related field, or Child Development Associate or willing to obtain qualification with tuition reimbursement
- OR
- 1 years experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
