**Job Overview** We are seeking an energetic and caring Assistant Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, ensuring their educational and emotional development. The Assistant Teacher will support the lead teacher in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment, contributing to the overall success of the childcare center. **Duties** - Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of the children. - Develop and maintain a safe, organized, and clean classroom environment. - Engage in interactive learning experiences, encouraging children to explore and learn through play. - Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere. - Develop and implement curricula that align with state and national standards, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded education. - Provide individualized support to children, addressing their unique needs and interests. - Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement lessons that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. - Participate in ongoing professional development, staying updated on best practices in early childhood education. **Experience** - Experience working with young children, preferably in a daycare or preschool setting. - Knowledge of early childhood development and curriculum development. - Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning. - Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. - Familiarity with teaching math and other core subjects to young children. - Experience with toddler care and creating engaging activities for this age group. - Strong organizational and time management skills. **Skills** - Experience working with children - Ability to communicate effectively - Experience with classroom management - Knowledge of curriculum development - Experience with childhood development - Proficiency in math - Experience with toddler care - Experience with lesson planning - Experience with daycare
