The Goddard School located in Pleasant Prairie has been open since 2014 and has a capacity for 132 children under our care. As part of a larger franchise system, in operation for over 30 years, we are the premier preschool for children from six weeks to six years old. - Engage with other early childhood professionals and continue to grow in your profession
- 18 years of age or older
- For Lead Teachers: Level 12 or higher on The Registry (or has a relevant Associates' or Bachelors' degree and is willing to become certified) or state-certified Lead Teacher Status
- For Assistant Teachers/Substitutes/Floats: willingness to complete or has already completed Introduction to the Childcare Profession and Infant and Toddler Fundamentals or equivalent.
- Has successfully completed or is willing to complete SIDS, SBS Prevention training, First AID/CPR certification.
- Meets background check eligibility
- Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles
- Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
- Is highly motivated and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working in teams
