The Goddard School in Broadview Heights has an opening for a Full-Time Lead or Assistant Preschool Teacher. Prospective applicants should be nurturing, energetic, highly motivated, and a solid communicator. We provide care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school age children.

Our school has a total full-time faculty size of around 30, three directors, and an on-site owner. Should you join our team, you will be supported, appreciated, and empowered to be the best teacher for our children and families.

Lead Teacher Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (or child-related degree) is preferred
• Current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential
  
  
  

Assistant Teacher Educational Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years childcare or college coursework in Early Childhood Education
• High School Diploma
  
  
  

Job Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing lesson plan activities that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Meeting the individual needs of children.
• Parent communication.
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Supporting a team environment.
• Using assessment tools.
