We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Infant Teacher. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and is committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
- Monitor and document children’s progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child’s growth.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Conduct infant safe sleep checks and understand infant licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Adhere to state licensing requirements and maintain compliance with QA standards.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field (preferred).
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in an early childhood classroom (preferred).
- Completion of state-required training.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to calmly address and resolve challenges while multitasking effectively.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed for child safety and emergencies.
