Duties include:
- Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
- Presenting developmentally appropriate educational expectations
- Meeting the individual needs of the children
- Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
- Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
- Participation in staff and training meetings
- Minimum of MSDE-OCC Teacher requirements (90-hour training)
- Bachelor's degree in education is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education is preferred.
