The Goldman Law Firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join our team as a civil litigation associate. As a key member of our defense team, you will be responsible for handling complex cases in California state and federal courts.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents and pleadings with precision, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
- Attend court appearances and settlement conferences, negotiating settlements and representing clients in mediations, taking and defending depositions
- Assist in preparing cases for trial
Requirements:
- Civil litigation experience in CA state or federal court (at least 5 years)
- JD degree and admission to California Bar in good standing
- Self-starter, accountable, punctual, excellent communicator, team player, multi-tasker, hard-working and creative
