Asset & Wealth Management (AM Core)- Salt Lake City- Associate, Internal Product

Job Duties: Associate, Internal Product Specialists with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Support the team's client interactions through the development and production of marketing materials, analysis and review of client portfolios, collection and analysis of relevant market data, as well as participation in strategic initiatives. Client reporting responsibilities including data management and review, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual client reports, including both quantitative and qualitative information such as performance, diversification, and portfolio holdings. Meet with clients and prospects on the XIG manager selection process and review specific strategies. Work alongside XIG Client Portfolio Solutions team members on cross-asset class client initiatives. Portfolio construction and risk analysis across alternative investment assets. Work with key stakeholders within the Goldman Sachs institutional sales to disseminate market and manager themes on a weekly basis. Aid team in crafting customized answers for prospect RFPs and reviewing potential portfolio line up.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include three (3) years of experience with: working in the financial markets industry and applying accounting practices with an understanding of financial markets to build and manage alternative investment portfolios institutional and high net-worth clients; utilizing statistical tools to generate hypothetical portfolios, risk reporting, and quantitative analyses for clients; creating, reviewing, and delivering presentations on quantitative investment strategies and portfolio updates both in person and remotely; utilizing and applying an understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, and the nature of securities trading and investing to appropriately select investments while appropriately managing risk and to help structure investment portfolios, and adhering to client objectives and regulatory requirements; and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver investment solutions for clients. Domestic and international travel required approximately 10% of the time to meet with clients for in-person interactions. All costs to be covered by the Firm.
