Position Overview:
The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas, ensuring a pleasant and sanitary environment. This role requires a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing an exceptional level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize assigned rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas according to company standards.
- Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock supplies as needed.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used appropriately and stored safely.
- Adhere to safety and health standards in cleaning and disinfecting areas.
- Respond to guest or resident requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the work area.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when working in private areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
