The Goley Companies is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Recording daily business transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Processing and verifying invoices and payments.
- Maintaining financial filing systems.
- Reconciliations:
- Reconciling bank statements with general ledgers.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
- Reporting:
- Preparing financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Other Duties:
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Maintaining contact with vendors and clients.
- Performing basic bookkeeping and clerical functions.
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Some experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
