Experience Required:
- Class A PGA Member in good standing. College Degree.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members, guests and staff.
- Professional attitude and integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of service.
- Experience managing day to day operations.
- Experience managing a team of golf professionals, outside staff, starters and shop staff.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent mentoring, training and supervisory skills.
- Experience in organizing, promoting and executing high level member tournaments and leagues.
- Proficient in computer applications and software like Microsoft Office, Golf Genius, and Jonas.
- Team player with the mindset to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- In-depth knowledge of golf, rules, and etiquette
- Oversee and manage day to day operations at a high level which includes the golf shop, outside services, driving range, locker rooms, bag storage, 45 holes of golf and golf cart fleet (150 carts)
- Plan, promote, execute high level member events that include Men’s Golf Association, Ladies Golf Association, and club events.
- Hire, train, mentor, supervise and elevate golf staff including assistant golf professionals, supervisors, starters, golf shop staff, and outside services personnel
- Enforce golf course policies and procedures to maintain safety, pace of play, and quality standards.
- Manage Jonas tee sheet reservation system and Golf Genius Tournament Software.
- Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all members and guests. Maintain a visible and approachable presence. Assist with onboarding of new members.
- Attend monthly meetings such as MGA, LGA Handicap Committee and monthly staff meetings.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
