Carts and Range Attendant
Overview:
The Golf Club (New Albany) is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and assist with end-of-day course closing procedures. This is a unique opportunity to work at a World-Class golf course. Whether you’re seeking part-time work or a second job, this position offers great potential. Additionally, there may be opportunities to join our Grounds Maintenance team. If you enjoy working outdoors and want access to free golf, this is the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
End-of-Day Course Closing Duties:
- Clean golf carts after each use to prepare them for the next golfer
- Tow carts to the storage area
- Wash carts thoroughly
- Plug carts into chargers
Closing Procedures for Practice Facility:
- Maintain cleanliness in the Driving Range and Short Game Area
- Pick up and organize golf balls
- Clean range balls using automatic ball washer
- Prepare the practice facility for the next day
Ideal Candidate:
- Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently with integrity
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Comfortable operating small utility vehicles and Driving Range Ball Picker
Compensation and Benefits:
- $16 per hour (overtime is paid at time-and-a-half for hours over 40)
- Golfing privileges (subject to management discretion and employee golf rules)
- 401(k) contributions after 1,000 hours of service
- Flexible scheduling

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 45 per week
