The Good Barber is seeking a Texas Licensed Barber or Cosmetologist to join our Management Team. The right candidate will have minimum one year managerial experience as well as excellent technical, organizational and communication skills.
The Shop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a barbershop, ensuring smooth client service, staff management, maintaining sanitation standards, and achieving financial goals
Some key salon manager job duties and responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, hiring, training and coaching salon staff
- Creating work schedules for employees
- Inventorying salon supplies and reordering as needed
- Ensuring that the salon environment meets cleanliness and hygiene standards required by law
- Monitoring staff’s completion of continuing education requirement needed to maintain licensure
- Resolving client complaints
- Marketing the salon to attract new customers
- Performing salon services for customers as needed
