Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy to support continued growth and profitability
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to set and achieve business objectives based on financial insights
- Lead financial planning efforts, ensuring alignment between financial goals and broader company strategy
- Work collaboratively across departments, supporting their financial reporting and information needs
- Oversee all financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop robust financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to drive data-driven decision-making
- Implement and monitor key financial KPIs to optimize performance and efficiency
- Implementation and management of NetSuite ERP
- Must have experience managing $100M in revenue, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring liquidity to support business operations
- Develop and execute capital allocation strategies, balancing growth investments with financial discipline
- Evaluate and execute financing strategies, including debt, equity, and strategic partnerships, as needed
- Take the lead and drive operational efficiency across finance, accounting, and supply chain functions
- Oversee cost accounting, COGS analysis, inventory management, and trade spend optimization to maximize gross margins
- Establish financial discipline in pricing strategies, promotional spend, and supply chain costs
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls, financial systems, and risk management frameworks
- Lead audit processes and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and external auditors
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
- Foster a culture of financial accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, translating complex financial data into actionable insights
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5 years as a CFO or senior finance executive
- Proven experience leading finance at a CPG, or food & beverage company with at least $100M in annual revenue
- Deep expertise in financial strategy, cash flow management, capital allocation, and cost optimization in high-growth environments
- Strong background in inventory accounting, COGS analysis, gross margin optimization, and trade spend efficiency
- Experience managing debt financing, investor relations, and fundraising strategies to support business growth
- Demonstrated ability to work with a leadership team, and across departments to foster collaboration and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred) with strong analytical and financial modeling skills
