The Good Dogg and Co. has provided professional pet sitting and dog walking services for over 15 years. We are insured and bonded, and our pet sitters and dog walkers are background-checked and fully trained. Our mission is to provide peace of mind to our human clients by providing the utmost loving, dedicated, and reliable pet care.

We seek a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker and Pet sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, a strong commitment to providing excellent care to our furry clients, and outstanding customer service to our human clients. As a Dog Walker and Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of the pets we have been entrusted with and communicating with clients professionally and promptly. This role requires strong communication skills and managing multiple pets safely and effectively. Must be available to work during the following hours: 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, or 7:00 am and 11:00 am, and occasionally overnight, depending on our clients' needs for pet care.

This position has no guaranteed hours, and you may not receive hours every week.

This is a position working with animals, usually outdoors, and must be ready, willing, and able to withstand unpleasant smells, untrained dogs, rain, and summer heat with an upbeat attitude.

This is not regular work - you should have a separate, reliable source of income.

Requirements:

-Be 18 years of age or older

-Pass a background check

-Have flexible availability

-Have reliable transportation

-Have a valid driver's license

-Being able to lift up to 50lb

-Being able to move and walk with ease

-Have the ability to react quickly and effectively solve problems that require common sense

-Have a reliable phone and phone service

Duties

These are a few of the duties required for this position.

• Walk dogs in various weather conditions while ensuring their safety at all times.
• Pet sitting for cats, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, etc.
• Maintain control of dogs using proper handling techniques and equipment.
• Feeding Pets.
• Cleaning litter boxes and other areas
• Provide basic training commands during walks to reinforce good behavior.
• Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to pet owners.
• Clean up after the pets during walks and sitting visits and ensure public areas are left tidy.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's needs and behaviors.
• Build positive relationships with both pets and their owners through exceptional customer service.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred but not required.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
