What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper Elementary Assistant Teacher position at The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori School?
Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori is seeking a full-time assistant teacher for our Upper Elementary STEM environment (grades 4-6). The ideal candidate will possess a deep respect for the elementary child and a willingness to work as a team with two lead teachers and another assistant. The candidate must be comfortable aiding children with elementary math concepts. Assistant duties include recess/lunch/bus duty, monitoring student work, grading homework, assisting individual students, helping to maintain the environment, and supporting the lead classroom teacher. Applicants must be SafeParish trained and pass a background check in accordance with Archdiocesan regulations. An educational aide or equivalent licensure is required.
