** This position will be required to rotate working between the Sauk Rapids and Becker Campuses. **
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
- Ensure that all HVAC systems are operating properly and efficiently
- Maintain boiler and conduct daily/weekly boiler checks
- Ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Paint, patch and repair walls as needed
- Ensure that the exterior of the building and windows are properly maintained
- Complete lawncare and maintain landscaping
- Perform snow removal from parking lot and walking areas as needed
- Ensure that facilities are in compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards (OSHA, Life Safety Codes, etc.)

Maintenance Engineer Schedule
- Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- On-call rotation every 3 to 4 weeks
Qualifications
Maintenance Engineer Qualifications
- Current Minnesota 2nd Class (C) engineer's license OR special engineer's licenses with continued employment contingent upon obtaining a Minnesota 2nd Class license within 13 months of employment
- General knowledge of plumbing, surface preparation for concrete, painting, carpentry, woodwork, mechanical repairs, refrigeration, pneumatics and light electrical repairs
- Must live within a 30-minute response time to the Sauk Rapids Good Shepherd campus
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license with no driving violations within the standard of Good Shepherd’s insurability program
