About the role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Line Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during the course of manufacture to make sure they meet company requirements.
What you"ll do
- Inspect, sample, and test products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
- Document results and recommendations on inspection reports, batch sheets, and other documentation.
- Count the number of products tested or inspected.
- Weigh materials, products, containers, or samples to verify packaging weight.
- Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to GMP and ISO 22716 standards.
- Place non-conforming products, materials, and / or equipment on hold and communicate to management, peers, and appropriate departments.
- Write non-conformance reports to document deficiencies and errors as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
