About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team! Reporting to the Inventory Specialist, the Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, and experienced in inventory software and databases. The warehouse assistant may also operate heavy machinery, so a candidate with experience is preferred.
What you"ll do
- Ensure inventory and materials are received, counts and weights verified and stored in an organized manner for easy retrieval.
- Check out components and materials to the Production Team based on requests / schedule.
- Responsible for working with other Warehouse Assistants on pallet rack placement and cataloging material / components back into inventory.
- Inspect the levels of components / labels, and raw materials to identify shortages
- Perform and report cycle counts to Inventory Specialist as needed
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scales and other equipment as needed
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
