A boutique New York City law firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a thriving Commercial Bankruptcy Group . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team in a collegial and collaborative environment, conveniently based in Midtown NYC.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Admitted to Practice : Must be admitted to practice law in New York State with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Admission in New Jersey is a plus.
- Lender Representation Experience : Has significant experience representing commercial mortgage lenders in enforcement proceedings involving commercial real estate.
- Bankruptcy Court Expertise : A proven track record of success in the Bankruptcy Courts for EDNY and SDNY, including experience with motion practice, evidentiary hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Litigation Proficiency : Confident and capable in all aspects of litigation, from drafting to negotiation.
- Bankruptcy Code Mastery : Skilled in utilizing the Bankruptcy Code to negotiate, draft, and implement settlement agreements, plans and workout solutions with borrowers and other creditors.
