MALE SPA ATTENDANT

The Goodkind Group is a thriving hospitality staffing agency based in NYC, dedicated to helping our clients discover top talent! One of our clients, a well-known trendy hotel, is looking for an experienced temporary Spa Attendant.

The days off are Thursday and Saturday's (working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,Friday and Sunday) and the hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is $22 per hour.

Please be aware that this is a temporary position, but there is a possibility for it to become permanent.

Job Overview:

The Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring the Spa is clean and well-organized, providing guests with an exceptional experience. This role involves engaging with guests in a highly professional and hospitable manner, accommodating special requests whenever feasible.

Essential Job Functions

• Always treat guests with respect and courtesy in various situations.

• Uphold honesty and integrity at all times.

• Be aware of the significance of personal hygiene and grooming.

• Follow hotel health and safety protocols diligently.

• Demonstrate the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, client service, safety, and hygiene throughout The Spa.

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of and comply with all hotel and spa procedures, protocols, and standards.

• Develop and maintain expertise in all spa services, tools, equipment, and products available.

• Effectively assess and address guest/client needs and concerns, providing information and education about treatments, including any contraindications that may apply.

• Advocate for additional services and products that may benefit spa guests/clients.

• Collaborate and contribute to the success of all spa staff and operations, completing tasks assigned by management efficiently.

• Create and maintain a positive and professional environment for Spa guests by ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility, including the reception area, locker rooms, hallways, restrooms, treatment rooms, steam/sauna areas, and relaxation rooms.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of spa-specific standards, services, products, and promotions.

• Acquaint guests with the spa facilities and locker room areas.

• Consult with spa guests to identify their needs.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in retail sales and cash handling
• Proficient in basic math and retail math
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Previous experience in a spa /gym is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $22.00 per hour
