Our prestigious law firm client is seeking an experienced Tax Trusts and Estates Paralegal to support attorneys in their Newark office! This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to handle additional tasks as needed.
Tax Trusts & Estates experience required!
On-site in Newark, NJ by Newark Penn Station
Responsibilities:
•Manage estate and trust accounts, process payments, reconcile statements, and maintain records.
•Prepare estate and trust accountings, tax returns, and financial projections.
•Coordinate with clients, beneficiaries, and advisors, ensuring accurate documentation and updates.
•Collect and value probate and non-probate assets, prepare inventories, and assist with filings.
•Draft legal correspondence, file court documents, and improve internal processes.
Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in a law firm.
• 3 years of Tax Trust & Estates experience required.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
