Job Overview
A Health Care Receivable Management Corporation is seeing an experienced full time Self Pay Representative to work out of our Melville (Long Island), NY location.
Summary of Responsibilities and Skill Requirements
· Heavy outbound calls to self-pay patients
· Receive inbound calls from patient inquires
· Secure payment arrangements
· Obtain insurance information from patients or responsible parties and update Hospital Facility EPIC system appropriately. Verifying Insurance Coverage Eligibility, updating and notating accounts.
· Strong analytical skills, communications, documentation, perform health insurance claim follow-up and multi-tasking computer skills.
· Strong knowledge of Medical Insurance Coverage’s, Third Party Billing regulations and NYS Financial Aid regulations.
· Follow guideline for MSPQ (Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire) Processing.
· Ability to work flexible hours as determined by management.
· Ability to accurately update patient accounts, update insurance information, initiate insurance billing, setting up and updating budget plans.
· Performs other job related duties, as required and assigned.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
