We’re looking for enthusiastic, personable boat captains to lead guided tours through a flooded limestone mine in Eastern Kentucky. As a captain, you’ll navigate crystal-clear waters, share fascinating stories about the mine’s history and geology, and connect visitors to the magic of the underground world—all while showing off your love for the Red River Gorge.
What You’ll Do:

Captain a tour boat through an underground limestone cavern.
Engage guests with stories about the mine’s history, local geology, and the unique ecosystem.
Inspire visitors with your knowledge and appreciation of the Red River Gorge.
Ensure safety by following all operational procedures and providing a smooth, fun experience.
Create unforgettable moments for adventurers of all ages!
What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication and storytelling skills.
Friendly, outgoing personality—you're the highlight of the tour!
Comfort working in dark, enclosed spaces and on the water.
A love for history, geology, and outdoor adventure.
Boating experience preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate.
Ability to lift 30 lbs and perform light physical work.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
