Coffee Production Assistant

Opening in 1991, The Governor's Cup Coffee Roasters is Salem, Oregon’s longest run coffee house and small-batch coffee roasters. We absolutely love what we do, and do it with heart and with an attention to detail that we know you can feel. We’re passionate about serving you a fantastic cup of coffee, or one of our crave-worthy breakfast sandwiches to kick off your day. It’s also pretty great if you dig our playlists and want to sit down and hang out with us for awhile too.

What You’ll Do

• Work as part of a fast-paced team to fulfill wholesale, retail and web-store coffee orders accurately and efficiently
• Prep, fill, and finalize orders; ensuring they are dropped off/delivered on time
• Operate band sealers, scales and grinders
• This position requires loading, driving and delivering regional orders to our wholesale customers throughout the Salem area
• Show initiative, present a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take direction
• Collaborate with teammates and managers to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of production space and warehouse
• Occasionally complete tasks or projects outside the above list as directed by your manager

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including scooping and sealing bags.
• Comfortable working with computer software and printers
• Ability to lift 10–25 pounds individually and 100 pounds as a team
• Ability to stand for up to 5 hours per shift.
• Comfortable working in a loud environment with machinery noise.
• Occasionally bend, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead to complete tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
