Job Description :
As a Transportation Aide , you will be responsible for accompanying residents during their transport to medical appointments, therapy sessions, social outings, and other essential activities.
Your role will ensure that each resident receives the assistance and care they need to arrive safely and comfortably at their destination.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist residents during transport to medical appointments, therapy, social outings, and other events.
- Ensure residents' safety, comfort, and well-being during transportation.
- Help load and unload residents from vehicles in a safe and respectful manner.
- Collaborate with the nursing and transportation teams to ensure smooth coordination of transport schedules.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to residents and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain a positive, supportive environment for residents during transport.
- Report any incidents or concerns during transport to supervisors as needed.
