What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Security Agent position at The Grand & Little America Hotel, Utah?
We are looking for a professional Security Guard to secure our Outdoor Pool and protect our guests and employees. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
You will be required to be on your feet for 8-hour shifts. We are looking for dependable, professional, and courteous officers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access by our guests to the outdoor pool
- Understand and enforce all pool related policies and procedures
- Report any health and safety hazards
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Support pool staff and managers in any other duties as requested
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Perform first aid or CPR
Qualifications:
MUST BE 21 YRS
- Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
