What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Host position at The Grand & Little America Hotel, Utah?
We are looking for a Restaurant Host to welcome guests in warm and friendly manner, creating a positive and memorable experience. The Host is responsible for monitoring the restaurant for open sections and tables, estimating wait times, monitoring a guest wait list when needed, and insuring that the guests are comfortable while waiting for a table.
Qualifications:
- prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry.
- good communication skills.
- positive attitude and interpersonal skills
- quick learner
- team player
Experience:
- Customer/guest service experience preferred.
- 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
- Must be able to slide tables to accommodate large groups.
- Proficient conversation English language skills required
