What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Grand Resort | Avalon Golf and Country Club?
The Grand Resort is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and professional bartenders to join our team as we prepare for the summer. (Minimum 21 years of age)
With 6 bars on our property (both inside and out), there will always be a spot for you to learn something new and fine-tune your skills, not to mention the excellent earning potential our location provides.
An Ideal candidate would have:
- The ability to multi-task at a high level
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- The ability to work in a team-based environment
- Willingness and motivation to receive training and constructive criticism to improve one's overall skills
- The ability to remain calm, cool and collected in a fast-paced and high-volume working environment
- Patience and understanding with a customer-oriented approach
- Open availability on the weekends and holidays
- Prior experience tending bar
Not a Requirement, but a plus:
- Reliable transportation
- Pre-existing experience with craft cocktails
- In-depth knowledge of high-end liquor and wine
