The Grande Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles office to competently and diligently represent clients in immigration cases. This role involves developing and executing case strategies, providing excellent client service, and collaborating with a team of legal professionals to ensure successful outcomes. The position requires at least two years of experience in immigration law, fluency in Spanish, and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Compensation :

90,000 - $105,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Manage immigration cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
  • Meet with clients to understand goals and desired outcomes, providing thorough advisement and consistent communication.
  • Conduct legal research, review case files, and gather evidence to build strong cases.
  • Supervises and provides direction to paralegals and legal assistants to ensure timely and quality work.
  • Represent clients during interviews, hearings, and court appearances as required.
  • Develop a case strategy and direct paralegals and legal assistants in executing tasks to meet case milestones.
  • Ensure all assigned cases are reviewed at least monthly, with regular client updates on progress.
  • Track and record billable hours, maintaining accurate case documentation for efficiency and transparency.
  • Prepare case memorandums and manage the timely closure of cases.
  • Conduct strategy sessions with potential clients to evaluate their needs and recommend appropriate services, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
  • Foster and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and personalized service.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association (CA preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in immigration law.
  • Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling family-based immigration, asylum, removal defense, and other immigration matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse clientele.
