Job Overview: The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team by scheduling appointments, managing client interactions, finalizing event paperwork, and ensuring seamless communication between the sales and operations teams. This individual will play a key role in providing outstanding client service, organizing sales logistics, and contributing to the overall success of The Grandview’s event sales operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Able to work Tuesday-Saturday from 9 AM – 5 PM (some evenings as needed; holidays including Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, and New Year's Eve required)
- Schedule and update sales appointments for two properties
- Arrange menu and final appointments for clients
- Assist the sales team with daily administrative tasks
- Finalize Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and paperwork, ensuring all event details are effectively communicated to the operations team
- Answer basic sales-related questions from clients
- Schedule and conduct final visits, updating counts for operations, kitchen, and management teams
- Ensure all event details are recorded and updated in the booking system
- Provide clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, and management
- Maintain a professional and organized office environment
- Assist in booking and execution of key holiday events (e.g., Mother's Day, New Year's Eve, Thanksgiving, Easter, Tastings)
- Cross-sell other Bonura Hospitality locations when appropriate
- Participate in social media marketing efforts by creating sales materials and promotional content
- Attend and actively participate in sales meetings
- Process and enter client payments while updating invoices as needed
- Assemble wedding packages and promotional materials
Additional Information: The day-to-day responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator may be expanded upon as determined by the owners or the General Manager to meet the operational needs of the business.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to withstand temperatures ranging from 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less to 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher for periods of 30 minutes or more.
- Agility to move quickly throughout a crowded restaurant for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day).
- Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over distances of up to 100 ft.
- Proficiency in understanding and responding to verbal requests and visual cues from employees and guests in a loud and busy environment.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
