What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Specialist - Gymnastics/Instructor position at The Granite YMCA - Allard Center of Goffstown?
A Gymnastics and Ninja Instructor represents the YMCA as a team leader in gymnastics. The primary responsibility is to provide a safe, educational and enjoyable gymnastics class to participants of a variety of ages. Gymnastics Instruction will be based on the YUSA-Gymnastics Progressive program and Ninja is based on the G2N Ninja System.
Primary job will be teaching Children ages 3 to 14 in both our preschool and school aged Gymnastics and Ninja Programs
- The candidate will run classes to stimulate the growth and development of the participants utilizing the YMCA Core Values and Character Development Initiative
- Effectively communicate between staff, parents, and class participants
- Maintain a safe environment through the supervision of their students within the class structure
- Hours available for morning “mothers hours” for preschool classes as well as after afternoon school age classes for both gymnastics and ninja.
- Hours available on Weekends
- Willing to train but salary is based on experience
Pay Range: $14 - $18/hr
