The Granite YMCA is seeking a passionate and dynamic Director of Day Camp & Teens to lead our Day Camp, Teen, and Kid Zone programs. In this full-time role, you’ll oversee program operations, manage staff, and foster positive community relationships to create enriching youth experiences. Join our mission to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility!
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and supervise Day Camp, Teen, and Kid Zone programs such as :
Teen Programs (Leaders Club, LIT / CIT, monthly Teen Nights, quarterly Teen Trips, supporting Youth & Government conferences)
Kid Zone (including KZ activities and monthly Kids Night Out)
Manage staff, schedules, and ensure program quality.
Develop and manage budgets, track enrollment, and maintain program records.
Build partnerships with community organizations and families.
Provide training and development for staff.
Attend relevant professional development and industry related meetings and conferences both internally and externally.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3 years of camp management or related experience.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience working with children and teens in recreational or educational settings.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Mini Bus Driving Credentials (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule :
Monday - Friday with some nights and weekends will be required
