The Granite YMCA is seeking a dynamic Director of Day Camp & Teen Programs to oversee our Day Camp, Teens, and Kid Zone initiatives. This full-time youth program leadership role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the community by creating engaging, safe, and enriching experiences for children and teens.
Key Responsibilities:
- As Director, you will lead, manage, and grow a variety of youth-focused programs, including:
- Teen Programs: Manage programs like Leaders Club, Teen Nights, quarterly Teen Trips, and support Youth & Government conferences.
- Kid Zone: Manage daily operations and activities of the Y’s drop-in center and plan monthly Kids Night Out events.
- Summer Day Camps: Manage the summer day camp program for youth, specialty camps and trip camps; ensure compliance with New Hampshire Licensing standards
You will also:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff while managing schedules and program quality.
- Develop and maintain budgets, monitor enrollment, and track key performance data.
- Build and maintain relationships with families and community organizations.
- Provide professional development opportunities for team members.
- Support curriculum planning and staffing for the P.A.S.T.A. (Parenting A Second Time Around) program.
- Attend local and regional conferences to stay current in youth services best practices.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Education, Recreation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in camp management, education, or youth programs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with children and teens in educational or recreational settings.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to obtain Mini Bus Driving Credentials.
Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday – Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends required.

Salary : $47,000 - $53,000
