Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Farm Director to oversee the daily operations of our farm program at The Granite YMCA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with youth and animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and implement farm-based programs
- Supervise staff and ensure that they are properly trained to care for the animals and maintain the farm facilities
- Develop and implement strategies to promote character development among campers and staff
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the farm areas
Requirements
A minimum of high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience or related college credits involving animal care is required. Ability to build positive relationships with youth ages 8-15 years old and staff members is essential.
