Family Personal Assistant / House Manager to HNW Family
West Los Angeles
Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed for evenings or weekends, work hours
Up to 125K DOE plus Benefits
Please live in close proximity to Santa Monica
MUST be ok with travel and acting as a backup nanny on occasion
An active and well-established family (with 3 younger kids) is seeking a Family Personal Assistant / House Manager to join their household. The role supports the seamless running of their home and managing the household staff. This position requires a warm, professional, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive, and possesses exceptional organizational skills. Must be warm and capable, a true deer and able to manage independently. This is a shoeless / fragrance free home. We ask that everyone be up to date on their vaccines (flu, Covid etc). MUST also be extremely tech savvy and have used APPS for managing to do lists such as Notion, Excel etc
Key Responsibilities :
1. Household Management :
o Oversee day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring it is always in pristine condition.
o Manage and coordinate schedules for household staff (cook, nanny, housekeeper) to maintain smooth operations.
o Conduct light tidying and organization of common areas as needed.
2. Family Assistance :
o Coordinate school pick-ups and drop-offs for the older children as needed. Asist as needed to help with pick ups
o Plan, book, and manage children’s activities, playdates, and extracurricular schedules.
o Assist with travel planning and packing / unpacking for family trips, especially during the 8–10 weeks spent traveling during the summer.
3. Administrative Support :
o Manage family and household calendars, appointments, and commitments.
o Handle grocery shopping, errands, and other household procurement.
o Book and oversee maintenance and repairs for the family’s properties.
4. Tech-Savvy Support :
o Utilize apps, spreadsheets, and other tools to keep the household organized and efficient.
o Create systems for improved workflow, ensuring all family needs are met proactively.
5. Personal Qualities :
o Serve as a trusted partner to the stay-at-home mom, supporting her goals to return to work.
o Maintain a professional, warm, and approachable demeanor at all times.
Qualifications :
- Experience : 3–5 years of experience in a similar role supporting a busy family.
- Skills :
o Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional multitasking abilities.
o Tech-savvy with proficiency in productivity tools and household management software.
o Proactive, self-starting mindset with a positive and solution-focused attitude.
