What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Family Assistant position at The Grapevine Agency?
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm
Salary : $43 an hour, Plus FULL Benefits
Transportation provided.
This role works for the principals as well as under an Estate Manager who has been there for 18 years. He is usually busy taking care of their multiple properties.
There are 3 children (13, 15 & 17) who go to Brentwood School. The position entails grocery shopping, cooking meals for the children, helping around the house where needed and picking up / dropping off the girls (13 & 15). Both parents work from home in separate offices.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Ensure the home is consistently stocked with all necessities, including groceries, kitchen essentials, home supplies, and personal items for all family members
Handle all errands such as package returns and pick-ups, shopping returns, grocery shopping, home supply shopping, and shopping for the children (including school supplies, birthday party gifts, and new clothes)
Manage and coordinate the schedules of all five family members, including arranging, managing and assisting with logistics for school drop-offs, pick-ups, extracurricular activities, appointments, and social events
Make reservations for family outings, dinners, and schedule doctor’s appointments and other necessary appointments for all family members
Coordinate household staff, including housekeepers and gardeners as well as vendors and maintenance personnel for repairs and home projects
Perform light housekeeping and organize household projects such as archiving the children’s old schoolwork, art, and photos, wardrobe changes for the family, and general decluttering throughout the house to maintain a well-functioning and organized home
Assist in planning and organizing family events and celebrations and make sure all guests are taken care of during gatherings
We are seeking someone dynamic, energetic and proactive. MUST have some experience having worked in a similar role in another home. Please have great REFS and a clean driving record.
