Cosmetologist

• The Grateful Head Organic Salon is a green circle certified, low-tox, organic salon, in Heidelberg and I am looking for another like minded stylists to join my team.
• I provide a laid back, welcoming, yet, upscale salon atmosphere for both clients and staff.
• a holistic approach to the beauty business using organic, biodynamic and cruelty free products and incorporating metaphysical practices into our services to I've our guests a truly unique experience.
• Making our clients look and feel wonderful inside and out without the use of highly toxic, harsh chemicals that do harm to our health and the environment.
• It is a beautiful space with stained glass fixtures, repurposed antique furniture and Healing Crystals to raise the vibration.
• Manicure/pedicure, waxing and skincare opportunities also.
• Metaphysical, Crystal or Sound therapy experience is a bonus
• This is a high traffic area, with great potential to build.
• Must be self motivated and eager to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Sharing a common work ethic and values is also a must.
• Must know basic salon/state Board protocols and cleanliness.
• Will provide color and product training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences with a through consultation.
• Perform hair coloring and styling services, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
• Have a respect for the environment and take pride in using products that are better for the earth, humans and animals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon including common areas.
• Manage appointments, re booking and client records using salon software.
• Basic reception duties ( answer phones, take appointments, greet clients)
• Promote and sell retail products to enhance client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology and social media management to attract new clients.
• Ability to photograph/ video clients and content for social media
• Enjoy the good work that we do to be day makers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $8.00 - $50.00 per hour
