As an Art Framer, you will be responsible for framing artwork and prints, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties
- Frame artwork and prints using various framing techniques and materials.
- Assist customers in selecting frames and mats to enhance their artwork.
- Provide product demos and answer questions about our framing products.
- Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Utilize POS systems to process sales and manage inventory.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and current trends.
- Conduct basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve store goals and maintain a clean and organized store.
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to increase revenue.
Experience
- Previous experience in framing or a related field is beneficial, as is retail management experience.
- Experience with retail sales and customer service is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and current trends is required.
- Cash handling and basic math skills are necessary.
- Experience with POS systems is an asset.
- Bilingual skills are a significant advantage, but not mandatory.
