The Server is the face of our restaurant and plays an integral role in our customer’s dining experience. As a Server/Cashier you will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and serve food and drinks, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly
- Through knowledge of the menu, preparation and presentation of each item
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while maintaining accuracy in math calculations.
- Operate the cash register and POS system for transactions.
- Prepare food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- As Expo, you are responsible for ensuring that each dish is prepared according to the customer’s specifications and meets the restaurant’s quality standard
- Collaborate with staff and provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Attention to details and quick learner to master POS system and Expo position
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
