About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced BOH Line Cook to join our team at The Great Greek in Vestavia Hills. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with the setup and stocking of food stations
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience a plus
- Food handler’s permit or certification
