The Social Media Coordinator will play a vital role in shaping our online presence and ensuring consistent and engaging communication with our audience. This position is ideal for someone passionate about social media, cannabis advocacy, and community building. You will work closely with the festival team to create, schedule, and monitor content that aligns with our values and goals.
- Develop and execute a content calendar for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Create and schedule engaging posts, including graphics, videos, and written content.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the team to align social media content with event promotions and organizational goals.
- Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate best practices to enhance engagement.
- Minimum commitment of 3 hours per week.
- Respond to Slack messages and emails within 48 hours.
- Experience managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Passion for hemp advocacy and sustainable practices is a bonus.
