Job Description:
The Vendor Coordinator supports all aspects of vendor engagement, from recruitment to on-site logistics. This role involves conducting discovery and sales calls/emails, managing application and filing processes, and ensuring smooth vendor operations during the festival. Prior to the event, this role would help with any shipping of vendor product, displays, etc to the event and from the event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and communicate with potential vendors.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify businesses aligned with the festival's mission and values, focusing on potential vendor opportunities.
- Maintain a database of vendor prospects, tracking outreach efforts, communication, and status of each lead.
- Provide post-event follow-up and support, gathering feedback from vendors to enhance future collaborations.
- Serve as a resource for vendors, addressing questions and ensuring all commitments are fulfilled both on-site and pre-event.
Requirements:
- Commit to at least 5 hours of volunteer work per week.
- Attend one team meeting per month.
- Respond to emails and Slack messages within 48 hours.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Excel, or CRM software is a plus.
- Proficiency in HoneyBook a plus.
- Preference for candidates residing in Wisconsin.
