QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience in data integration, IT budget management, procurement processes, and technical support, preferably in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with account automation platforms like ClassLink or sim
- Ability to problem solve and research solutions
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Valid driver's license
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The Data Integration Specialist supports the school district's IT initiatives by managing data integration processes, ensuring accurate account automation and creation, and facilitating seamless data management through third-party platforms like ClassLink. This role also includes responsibilities related to budget management, purchase orders, collaboration with external consultants (e.g., eRate consultants), and providing technical support through the help desk as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems, data integration, and budgetary processes within an educational environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Data Integration and Management
Implement, maintain, and optimize data integration solutions for the district's various platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability.Manage account automation and creation processes, leveraging third-party applications like ClassLink to ensure efficient user provisioning for staff, students, and faculty.Collaborate with department heads to identify and address data needs, ensuring compliance with privacy and security policies.Troubleshoot data flow issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.IT Procurement and Purchase Order Tracking
Generate and track purchase orders for IT equipment, software, and services, ensuring compliance with district policies.Submit requisitions and maintain detailed records of all purchases.Collaborate with IT Director and vendors to obtain quotes as needed.eRate Coordination
Collaborate with the district's eRate consultant to identify eligible services, prepare documentation, and submit applications.Track and manage eRate funding requests and reimbursement processes.Ensure compliance with eRate regulations and deadlines.Experience with or familiarity with eRate is preferred but not required. A willingness to learn and adapt to eRate processes is essential, with training and support provided by the district and ITC.Help Desk Support
Assist with help desk tickets as assigned, providing timely technical support to staff, students, and faculty.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues reported through the help desk system.Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members when necessary.Communication and Collaboration
Work closely with stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and IT staff, to identify and implement solutions that meet educational and operational needs.Provide training and support to staff on using integrated data systems and platforms effectively.Document processes and maintain up-to-date records related to data integration, purchases, help desk resolutions, and budget tracking.Other duties as assignedOTHER DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS :

Strong understanding of IT budgeting, procurement, and inventory management.Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques, with a focus on interoperability between educational systems.Experience working with eRate funding processes and compliance.Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and relevant IT systems.Certifications (Preferred) :
Certifications in data integration platforms or tools.IT-related certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network , or similar.Salary : Starting at $63,488
